Mincing no words, the state government has issued a circular of marching orders to its staff currently stationed in common capital of Hyderabad.

According to the circular issued by the AP government on Tuesday, employees would be shifted to the new capital region in three phases – November, February and June 2016.

Even as the staff have their reservations about shifting to the new capital region of between Vijayawada and Guntur owing to lack of facilities there, the government is also facing a humongous task of finding 55 lakh square yards of accommodation to house all departments and corporations by June, at least in phased manner.

“Department heads were given three options, either they can use district level office for the purpose, make their own arrangements or wait for the Accommodation Committee to allocate suitable space,” committee members Sambob and Jawahar Reddy said.
