BJP will be ousted just like CPI(M) in Bengal: Mamata

The BJP will be ousted from the country just like Trinamool Congress (TMC) showed CPI(M) the door in Bengal, said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday.

She also warned the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre not to try to intimidate her and TMC. The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering at a government programme in Keishiary area of Paschim Medinipur district.
“Don’s try to intimidate us with Delhi’s red eye. After some time, they (BJP) will become zero in Delhi, BJP will be ousted from India. We have ousted CPI(M) and will also oust BJP. This is our commitment,” said the Chief Minister.
The TMC supremo also cautioned BJP not to get into a confrontation with her party. “It is good to be brave but too much bravery is not good. You have made a big mistake by attacking Trinamool Congress (TMC). We do not believe in your destructive politics. But law will take its own course,” she said.
The Chief Minister criticised BJP's Hindutva agenda and said she has “no respect” for the BJP, which resorts to divisive politics in the name of Hindutva.

BJP using RBI, CBI

“I have great respect for the sages at the Ramakrishna Mission. But scoff at BJP, which resorts to divisive politics in the name of Hindutva,” said Banerjee.

She alleged that BJP is using institutions like RBI and CBI as if they were its party offices. “Such things are unprecedented in our country,” said Banerjee.
The CPI(M) was also not spared. Banerjee alleged that former CPI(M) cadres who used to terrorise and oppress the people of Bengal during the Left Front regime have now switched sides and joined BJP.
As her January 19 mega rally in Kolkata-where she seeks to bring all anti-BJP party leaders together-draws nearer, Banerjee has been steadily raising her pitch against the BJP.
