Chhattisgarh has 34 MLAs with PG degree

The fifth state Assembly of Chhattisgarh will have a unique combination of senior most and new members.

Thirty nine members in the 90-member House are first timers.

As per information received, in year 2013, the number of post graduate MLA were 31 and in this year the number has increased to 34.

A total of 13 MLAs are professional graduates while nine are doctors.

There are three MBBS, four BAMS while three are hold the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Similarly, six MLAs are advocates and four are engineers.

Out of the 90 MLAs, Dr Renu Jogi (Kota), Dr Preetam Ram (Lundra) and Dr Vinay Jaiswal (Manendragarh) are MBBS doctors, Dr Raman Singh (Rajnandgaon), Dr Krishnamurti Bandhi (Masturi), Dr Shiv Dahariya (Arang) and Dr Premsai Singh Tekam (Pratappur) are BAMS doctors.

MLAs holding a PhD include are Dr Charandas Mahant (Sakti), Dr Rashmi Ashish Singh (Takhatpur) and Dr Laxmi Dhruv (Sihawa).

Amitesh Shukla (Rajim), Ravindra Choubey (Saja), Rashmi Singh, Kismat Lal Nand (Saraipali), Dharamlal Kaushik (Bilha) and Nankiram Kanwar (Rampur) are advocates.

Ajit Jogi (Marwahi), Shailesh Pandey (Bilaspur), Umesh Patel (Kharsia) and U D Minj (Kunkuri) are the engineers.
