A day before the results of the state Assembly elections, Chhattisgarh BJP chief has declared that the party will come back to power.

BJP state president Dharamlal Kaushik advised the Congress to "accept the fact that it is not going to form government” and instead “will face infighting” in the party, "for which party should be ready."

“The exit polls data is just an estimate, but in a healthy democracy the government is not formed on the basis of an estimate. It is formed based on the certification given by the people, and public's faith in the party's people-oriented welfare schemes,” he claimed.

Kaushik further said that the party has faith in its workers and that they have reached out to each voter and urged him or her to use their franchise. "The hard work of BJP worker will be paid in success,” he said.

"We are confident that the BJP will form government with full majority and will not need any outside support," he said.

He further said that it was the "unbroken relationship" with the people that they have voted the party to power for the last 15 years. "The Congress could not hinder this relationship even with its lies and false promises," he said.
