CJI Offers prayers in Tirumala

Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi at the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Sunday evening.

Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi along with justice N V Ramana offered prayers at the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Sunday evening.

Both the apex court dignitaries accompanied by their spouses reached Mahadwaram, where they were accorded a warm reception by TTD authorities.

Later, the CJI offered prayers inside the temple and had darshanam of main deity in Mahalaghu darshanam like any other common pilgrim.

After darshanam, they were offered Vedasirvachanam by Vedic pundits. This was followed by the presentation of Theertha prasadams, laminated photos of the lord by TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal and JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju.

District Collector Sri Pradyumna, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jetti, Tirupathi Urban SP Anburasan and other district top brass officials were also present.
