Rajasthan Congress President Sachin Pilot said that he has an old connection with the state when compared with Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

Answering a question at a press conference here on Friday, Pilot said, "I came to Rajasthan as a 2-year-old and now my relation with this sacred land is four decades old. My bond with Rajasthan dates back and is deeper when compared to Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje."
Sachin Pilot said birth place cannot decide a politician's candidature and cited BJP's veteran leader L K Advani's example, "Advani ji was born in Pakistan but it could not stop him from becoming a political stalwart", Pilot added.
The Congress President also announced that the party would release a "report card" of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje-led state government's performance, highlighting its "unfulfilled promises". Pilot said the "report card" would be an analysis of the promises made by the government and those fulfilled in the last five years.
Polling will be held in Rajasthan on December 7. The results will be announced on December 11 along with four other states.
