Thespian Dilip Kumar has been admitted to a Mumbai hospital following a bout of chest infection.

The 95-year-old actor, however, is stable.
The news of his hospitalisation was announced on Twitter. "Saab has been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital as he was a bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He's recuperating. Requesting for your 'duas' and prayers," family friend Faisal Farooqui posted on Twitter.
This is the third time the nonagenarian actor had to be admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in a span of two years. The actor stays with his wife, Saira Bano, in his Pali Hill home at Bandra.
He had acted in several super hit movies including Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Naya Daur, Shakti and Madhumati among others. His last film was Qila in 1998. He was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and Padma Vibhushan in 2015 and was a Rajya Sabha member.
