The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP president Thursday alleged that the dissent had been criminalised in the country.

“One who speaks against you (government of India) is being either booked under seditious charges or being summoned by the investigative agencies,” she told reporters after nearly five-hour-long questioning by Enforcement Directorate (ED), here, in connection with money laundering case.

The PDP chief said that she was questioned about her father's ancestral property in Bijbehara (Anantnag), “which we have sold out and was asked how you sold it and other related things.”

Mehbooba asserted there will be no change in her party's stance over the fight for the rights of the Jammu and Kashmir people especially regarding the restoration of Article 370.
