Kickstarting his one day-campaign from Nizamabad; Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted people of Telangana to dump both Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the ensuing elections and give Bharatiya Janata Party a chance.

The PM began his hour-long speech with opening remarks in Telugu remembering the days of Nizam’s private army “Razakars” and the sacrifices made by people of the region.

“While the Congress has a PhD in corruption, K Chandrasekhar Rao is its prodigy. KCR was a minister in UPA government and knows how remote control works. I have no doubt that Congress and TRS are involved in a friendly match, “Modi said. He further said that he wondered how Sonia and Rahul Gandhi sitting next to each other in public meeting here blaming KCR for running a family rule,” Modi said.

Drawing similarities between the Congress and TRS, the prime minister said that parties are run by a family, both do vote bank politics and there is no internal democracy in their parties what so ever. The Prime Minister wanted the people of Telangana to vote for BJP so that the state will have full blessings from the BJP led union government.

The PM who has already participated in campaigning in four states so far said that he was pained to see that Congress is fighting the elections on non-issues. “They are talking about my mother, father and the place I was born, but those are not the real issues,” he said. He asked the voters not to let Congress return to power. “Those who spoiled the nation should never return. Wherever Congress has lost the people of the state never let it return,” Modi said

Insecure KCR believes in Nimbu Mirchi

Ridiculing caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his belief in rituals, the Prime Minister said that such belief stems out of insecurity. “He believes in vastu and Nimbu Mirchi. He is so insecure of me that he doesn’t allow any programme that has the name of Prime Minister in it in Telangana,” Modi said.

“I have asked mu Chopper pilot to show me a bit of Nizamabad before landing here. I was shocked to notice that the town is worse than any town of an underdeveloped state in India. If this is what London that KCR promised to look like, you better defeat him and send him to stay in London for five years,” the PM said.
