Addressing Indian Mobile Congress-2018 in New Delhi, the Minister said, India has become the largest consumer of mobile data today. To further efforts in this direction, the government will ensure required infrastructure is put in place.

He said for the last two years, the telecom towers have more than doubled in the country.

By allowing the spectrum trading and shaping, the cost of execution for telecom operators has reduced he said.
