Last Updated 29 January 2015, 02:19 IST

Eighty-five art galleries, some from abroad, will showcase their work at the 7th edition of the India Art Fair from January 29-February 1 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla Industrial Estate, here.

Day one is exclusively for VIP preview. The remaining three days will be open for the public. The business hours are from 11 am to 2 pm followed by public viewing from 2 pm to 8 pm.

On the last day, however, the fair will be open for public from 11am to 8pm. The organisers have roped in Girish Shahane as the artistic director. He will direct both Artistic Projects and the Speakers’ Forum. There will also be a series of talks, workshops and book launches.

A number of parallel events have also been planned during the fair.

These include art shows in Mumbai and Bengaluru as well. The annual event has grown over the years due to the rising interest in art as a form of investment. Indian artists look forward to participating and presenting their work to the world at this event.
