In the wake of the suspension of operations at Cochin International Airport, Jet Airways continues to cap its economy fares on all of its non-stop domestic flights to and from its other operating destinations across Kerala—Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Kochi - and Mangaluru.
According to a Jet Airways spokesperson, the airline is already operating additional flights on both domestic and international sectors besides offering a waiver for passengers holding confirmed tickets and travelling in and out of Cochin till August 26. Passengers are requested to check the airline’s latest flight schedule and correct fares on its website or mobile App or contact the airlines office on +91-(City Code)-39893333 for assistance.
Besides, the airline has waived air freight charges on all domestic cargo shipments of relief material to Kerala and is facilitating the transfer of additional supplies to the state in conjunction with several NGOs.
Till date, Jet Airways has already airlifted over 6 tonne of medicines, clothes, baby food, rice and other provisions, milk powder, bedsheets, linen and other relief materials to Kerala.
