The JNUSU has accused the varsity administration of circulating documents that bore forged signature of president Kanhaiya Kumar and general secretary Rama Naga and has called for a protest against it in the campus on Monday.

The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) will also raise various other issues and call for an immediate meeting of vice chancellor and academic council to discuss the students demands.

“Why is the administration circulating papers with fabricated signature of JNU Students’ Union president and general secretary and spreading false information?” Students’ Union vice president Shehla Rashid Nora said on Sunday, confirming that a call was given for holding a protest on Monday.

Shehla claimed that the JNU recently released certain documents pertaining to a standing committee meeting held recently in the campus to recommend 10% relaxation to other backward classes students only at the level of the entrance examination conducted for admissions.

“One of these documents bear forged signatures of Kanhaiya and Rama. These documents were obtained by an Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activist (Saurabh Sharma) and being circulated to spread lies that Kanhaiya and Rama were part of the meeting in which decision was taken to give OBC candidates relaxation in admission only at qualifying examination (entrance examination),” she said.
