KCR performs yagna for T-state

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday began yet another round of chandi yagam for achieving the separate state demand.

KCR believes the two-day nakshtra puja and chandi yagam performed by a 20-member of all Telangana vedic pundits picked from the region will fulfill the aspirations of the people of the region. For a change, this time the yagam began at Telangana Bhavan, the TRS party headquarters here. The yagam will conclude on KCR’s birthday on Friday.

Clad in a red colour silk dhoti, Rao, along with wife Shobha Rani, took the blessings from his guru Veleti Mrityunjaya Sharma and completed the initial rituals under his guidance.
