Militants fire rifle grenade on security camp

Stepping up attacks, militants fired a grenade towards a joint camp of the army and paramilitary CRPF in Tahab village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday, but there was no damage done in the attack.

Police said the grenade was fired using an under barrel grenade launcher early on Friday and it exploded near the fencing, without causing any damage.

On Thursday evening, a police officer and a civilian were injured in a grenade attack on Kulgam police station.

On Wednesday night, militants snatched four rifles from policemen guarding a police post in Hyderpora area on the outskirts of Srinagar.
