Maharashtra BJP unit on October 15 said it will ask the party-led NDA government at the Centre to confer Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, on Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar.
On August 5, the BJP government at the Centre abrogated Article 370 that granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the stated into the Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
The BJP government seems to be ticking goals off its list.
