In a strong assertion, prime minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that no one can change the structure of reservation till he was at the helm of affairs.

"Till Modi is here, no one can change reservations, given to us by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar," the prime minister said.

Addressing rallies in Nashik and Nandurbar districts he said assured the tribal population and farmers that their land is safe.

In Nandurbar, he said that the erstwhile Congress-led UPA government launched the Aadhaar card here but later made it "niradhaar" (useless). "We have linked Aadhaar with mobile and Jandhan accounts and ensured that middlemen are bypassed," he said.

In a reference to the Rafale issue, he said that the Congress is spreading rumours about government-owned HAL, however, it is Congress which destroyed such institutions.
