One of the boatmen who came to vote, went inside the booth started looking for the ‘Boat’ symbol.
When he didn’t find it, he came out annoyed and demanded an explanation from the presiding officer on why the symbol was not present.
No candidates had chosen the symbol, the official said. The boatmen were not convinced and all left the polling station in a huff.
