Why has TDP website shutdown, asks YSRCP

YSR Congress on Thursday questioned the Telugu Desam Party why it had shut down its website and Seva Mitra App.

Addressing separate press conferences here, party spokespersons Vasireddy Padma and Ambati Rambabu said, "With elections around the corner, Chandrababu Naidu is resorting to unethical and undemocratic methods to garner votes despite knowing that he would not succeed."

“In the ongoing case of data theft, it was proved beyond reasonable doubt that Chandrababu Naidu is caught on the wrong foot, which is evident by the fact that TDP website has been shut down along with Seva Mitra App as a precursor to the Party exiting governance,” they said.

YSRCP also alleged that the government had issued GO no 75 authorising the Bluefrog Company to access details of 25 departments in the name of “Kutumbha Vikasam” or “Samaja Vikasam” schemes and giving government data to private players on a platter.

They termed the case filed against YSRCP by the TDP leaders ridiculous. “They are unable to cover up their grand design of data theft and systematic deletion of voters to benefit the ruling party in the 2019 elections,” they said.
