NCP supremo Sharad Pawar's grandnephew Parth Pawar would contest the Lok Sabha elections from Madha.

Parth,  28, is the third generation from the Pawar family to enter electoral politics.

Parth is the son of former deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar,  who is the nephew of Pawar.

Marathi actor Dr Amol Kohle would be contesting from Shirur.

In Marathi TV serials,  Dr Kolhe had essayed the role of legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sambhaji Maharaj.

Former deputy chief minister and veteran OBC leader Chhagan Bhujbal's nephew Sameer Bhujbal would contest from Nagpur.

On Friday, the NCP announced the second list of five seats.

However,  the suspense over the Madha still continues.

It was from here Pawar was keen to contest,  however,  took a decision to back out and pave way for Parth.

The NCP leadership wants to renominate sitting MP Vijaysinh Mohite-Patil from Madha but his family wants his son Ranjitsinh Mohite-Patil to contest.
