JOIN USDays after little Sadiq became the city Commissioner of Police for a day, another seriously ill schoolgirl, Bandi Sreeja, got her wish fulfilled at a private hospital in Khammam where her favourite actor, Pawan Kalyan, visited her.
The organisation that helped Sadiq to live his wish, Make A Wish Foundation, had recently informed the actor about Sreeja’s request and the actor agreed readily.
Pawan Kalyan, who was in Visakhapatnam on Friday morning to visit the Hudhud-affected areas, arrived at the hospital in Khammam and met the 12-year-old girl. Sreeja is the youngest daughter of Nagayya, a staffer at Kothagudem Thermal Station at Palwancha and Nagamani.
She is diagnosed with Meningitis and from the past few days is in coma. A visibly shaken Pawan Kalyan whispered in her ears: “Sreeja, look, I am Annavaram (a lead character that Pawan played in a movie). I came to see you open your eyes.” A few minutes later, the girl opened her eyes for a second before returning to her deep slumber. Pawan stayed there at her bedside for almost half-an-hour and waited for the girl to open her eyes again. However, the Khammam police advised him to return to Hyderabad as the number of fans outside the hospital multiplied with each passing moment.
