Last Updated 25 November 2010, 14:15 IST

At an hourly payment of Rs 315 or USD seven, you can avail of these "snooze cabins" equipped with a bed, a working table, wi-fi facility, electric-plugs, flat screen TV, DVD player and cell phone charging sockets, airport operator Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said in a release.

A passenger in transit or having some time to catch a flight can avail of the facility, with officials saying that such travellers will not have to worry about reservations in nearby hotels for early or late departures as they would get a comfortable place inside the terminal where passengers can work, sit, sleep, relax and unwind.

With its sleek design, efficient space and integrated technology, best suited for passengers' needs, these snooze cabins are yet another addition to the host of passenger- friendly facilities being provided by DIAL at T3, the release said.

'Snooze cabins' have been put in place at the IGI airport's plush new T-3 for the first time anywhere in the country.

These cabins are currently being provided at select airports across the world, including London Heathrow's Terminal 4, Gatwick South Terminal, Amsterdam's Schipol Airport, Singapore's Changi and China's Hong Kong Airport.
