Police yet to receive formal complaint on JNU video clip

The University officials are planning to finish their inquiry within a week with Chief Proctor H C Bohidar heading the probe panel.

"We have not approached the police. We have ordered an internal inquiry. We want to wind it up within a week. We have spoken to a number of students," a senior JNU official said.
A senior police official said they were yet to receive any complaint from the University. "We have asked them to forward their report to us," the official said.

The video clip was reportedly shot in April last year in JNU's Tapti hostel.

The incident came to light when as department of the university submitted the clip which was in circulation to the Proctor's office.
