Priyanka meets boy who wept when he couldn't meet Rahul

A seven-year-old boy in Kerala was overwhelmed with joy as Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi came down to meet him to compensate over the chance he missed to see her brother and Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

Nadhan, a native of Kannur in North Kerala, was eager to see Rahul during his North Kerala visit couple of days back. But he could not. The little boy could not control his emotions as he wept over it. His father Santosh took a picture of his weeping son and posted on social media. It went viral and reached Rahul.

The family was shocked as they got a call from Rahul the other day to console Nadhan. He also assured to meet him soon.

As advised by Rahul, his sister Priyanka who came down to campaign for Rahul in Wayand on Saturday, met Nadhan and family at Kannur. She also gave a picture of Rahul to Nadhan, who was accompanied by father Santosh, mother Smitha and brother Jonadh. Nadhan had been an avid Rahul Gandhi fan. He used to attend all election meetings of Congress and even sought votes for Congress.

Meanwhile, in her election campaign at Wayanad, Priyanka strongly attacked the BJP. She alleged that the BJP was trying to create communal divide in the country, while it had ditched the farmers during the last five years of rule.
