Rahul to share stage with Chandrababu

AICC president Rahul Gandhi will be campaigning for his party candidates in Telangana for two days starting from Wednesday. He is also expected to address a public meeting here on December 3.

During the tour, he will address public meetings in Kodangal and Madhira on Wednesday as well as participate in road shows at the Secunderabad and Nampally constituencies here.

At Khammam, he will be sharing a stage with Telugu Desam Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. According to Grand Alliance Khammam candidate and TDP politburo member Nama Nageswara Rao, the meeting will be a historic milestone.

According to the AICC schedule, Rahul will also attend a Hindu religious congregation called 'Koti Deepotsavam' at the NTR Stadium in the city on Wednesday night.

BJP chief Amit Shah, during his recent visit, had attended the programme, which is organised by a Telugu satellite channel.

On Thursday, he will interact with representatives of recognised private educational institutions.

Later, he will address public meetings at Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Parkal, Manthani, Huzurabad, Warangal east, Armoor and Parigi, besides taking part in a road-show at the Chevella constituency.

The AICC says it will release details of the 3 December tour separately.
