Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday blew the poll bugle for the Assam Assembly saying the BJP would bite the dust like it did in Bihar.

Rahul asked the rank and file of ruling Congress to draw inspiration from the Bihar poll results and prepare themselves to fight the BJP right at the grassroot level.

“We just defeated our opponents in Bihar, I am very confident that Congress party will win in Assam. As for poll alliance, we are in deliberation. The final decision will be taken by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and the APCC led by Anjan Dutta. We have complete trust on their leadership,” Rahul told reporters.

Rahul also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and claimed that his attitude has changed after the Bihar drubbing. “I see him closely in Parliament. His attitude has changed. His body language has taken a hit after the Bihar results. The he speaks to his ministers have changed as well,” he added.

Rahul also said Modi has changed after Bihar polls. “I used to think if five promises are made one will fulfilled. Now, when I see Modi in Parliament i see a weak and hallow person, who can only orate  to make one Indian fight with another,” he said.
