In the wake of the Pulwama attack, Rajasthan education minister Govind Singh Dotasara has also recommended the Rajasthan State Council of Educational Research & Training (SERT), to include a chapter on the bravery tales of Pulwama martyrs in the textbooks published by Rajasthan Board of School Education. "The bravery tales of the Martyrs need to be told across. Their sacrifice should not go waste. If we can a chapter on Surgical strike, why not on martyrs ", Dotasra told DH.

Moreover, the education department of Rajasthan recently inaugurated a Government defence academy named as Maharao Shekhaji Shashastra Bal Prasikshan. Academy will be set up with an investment of Rs 31.5 crore in Sikar.
