Shah to address booth-level workers

BJP national president Amit Shah would be on two-day visit to Chhattisgarh on October 12 and 13 to interact with party workers and leaders.

According to a party statement, shah will talk to about 23,632 booth workers from five revenue divisions.

On October 12, he would hold a meeting at Ambikapur for Surguja division and at Bilaspur for Bilaspur division.

The next day, the meetings will be held at Jagdalpur for Bastar division and at Raipur for Raipur and Durg division.

The statement further states that for ensuring maximum participation of booth level workers, the BJP state level office bearers are touring the state and holding discussion with party workers, office bearers and public representatives.

Chhattisgarh BJP president Dharamlal Kaushik is on tour to Durg while general secretary Santosh Pandey and vice president Sunil Soni are touring Jagdalpur.

The party has been focusing on its target of 65 plus seats in the state Assembly, and is working to further strengthen its booth level organisation.
