BJP national president Amit Shah on Sunday asked Congress president Rahul Gandhi to announce his clear cut stand on the issue on Maoism.

Shah was referring to the Saturday's statement of Congress leader Raj Babbar in Chhattisgarh that Maoists are revolutionaries.

To this, shah said that revolution does not take place through bombs and guns, White Revolution or the Milk Revolution is the real revolution where the poor get their share.

Shah was addressing an election meeting at Ambagarh Chowki in favour of Khujji BJP candidate Hirendra Sahu.

“Modi brought Ayushman Bharat where each family of poor is covered by Rs 5 lakh, it is revolution. When the poor gets the price of their produce and when Raman Singh gives Rs 300 bonus on it, it is revolution. Instead of middlemen, the amount goes directly into the account of farmer, it is real revolution,” he said.

Praising the BJP government in Chhattisgarh, Shah said that the annual budget of Raman Singh's government increased from 9,000 crore to 83,180 crore.

Such a hike of budget has not taken place in any other state, he said.

“Congress president Rahul Gandhi says certain thing should be made in Chhattisgarh. For 55 years from Panchayat to Parliament it was Congress rule. What was made in Chhattisgarh? Now, handicrafts made by women of state are being sold in prominent airports of country, it has been possible by Narendra Modi government. State is known as cement hub, the power goes to different parts of country and it is one of biggest maker of aluminium. It is during Congress period that Maoism has taken its roots,” Shah said.
