BJPs national president Amit Shah will meet party leaders in Ranchi to further strengthen party organisation ahead of the crucial general election next year, state party spokesman said on Tuesday.

Shah will hold several meetings with partymen to review working of booth level committees and also for greater use of social media to reach out to masses in a more effective manner, state party spokesman Praveen Prabhakar told PTI.

Amit Shah ji will arrive at 10 am tomorrow, and go to party office. He will meet senior leaders of the party, he said. In the second half he will meet intellectuals of the Adivasi Samaj, Prabhakar said. Shah will review booth level committees functioning and lay emphasis on greater use of social media to reach out to masses in a more effective manner.

Jharkhand has a BJP government headed by Raghubar Das. BJP won 12 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand out of a total of 14 in the 2014 general election. The saffron party has 43 MLAs in the 82-member state assembly. The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha will welcome the party president from the airport to the party office with 2000 bikers leading the way. Shah will stay overnight tomorrow and leave for Patna the next morning, the leader said.
