Indian Union Muslim League leader and MLA of Manjeswar M C Kamaruddin has got bail in all 142 cases against him in connection with cheating investors in the jewellery business headed by him.
Kamaruddin was arrested by the police in November last and was under remand for around three months. He got bail in some of the the cases in January and got in the pending six cases on Wednesday, paving the way for his release.
Kamaruddin was the chairman of the Fashion Gold jewellery business. Managing director of the firm Pookoya Thangal, who is also an IUML leader, is still absconding.
