Even as the CBI ruled out any mystery behind the death of Kerala musician Balabhaskar in a road accident, the musician’s father will be seeking further probe.

The CBI probe into the death of Balabhaskar, who was known for his fusion music mainly with violin, and his two-year-old daughter Thejaswani Bala, in a road accident in Thiruvananthapuram on September 25, 2018 found that it was a road accident caused by rash driving. Driver Arjun, who was also seriously injured in the accident, was charge sheeted for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

But Balabhaskar’s father C K Unni said that he would approach the court seeking further probe as the CBI seems to have missed many crucial aspects in the case.

The suspicion over the accident strengthened after a couple of associates of Balabhakar were later held in a gold smuggling case. Balabhaskar’s father raised concerns over certain financial dealings that some persons had with Balabhaskar.

Meanwhile, the CBI also decided to initiate legal action against artist ‘Kalabahavan’ Shobi for allegedly misleading the probe. Shobi’s statement that he happened to spot two persons in suspicious circumstances moving away from the spot was found to be false. He was also suspected to be trying to settle scores with a lady by dragging her into the row in due course.
