Tamil Nadu budget on Feb 8

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Pannerselvam will present the state budget for the financial year 2019-20 on February 8, the government announced on Friday.

Pannerselvam, who holds the Finance portfolio, will present the Budget on the floor of the House at 10 am on February 8. The state budget, which is usually presented in the second or third week of March, has been brought forward to February since elections are likely to be announced in the first week of March.

The session will begin on February 8, an official release said. This is the second session of the year.
