TTD board okays Rs 50 cr for parking complex

Building a spacious car parking complex at a cost of Rs 50 crore near Mullakunta and making of new Sahasra Nama Kasula Mala to Lord Venkateswara with 33 kg gold are some of the key decisions taken by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) board.

The temple board, under the chairmanship of K Bapiraju took some important decisions on Sunday. 

The Sahasra Nama Kasula Mala to Lord Venkateswara will be made with the donation from one Ramalinga Raju. 

The board has also given nod to prepare a new golden Vakshasthala Lakshmi to Sri Kalyana Venakteswara Swamy at Srinivasa Mangapuram at a cost of Rs 64 lakh, construction of Annaprasada Bhavan at Tiruchanoor at a cost of Rs 5 crore, amenities complex at Mattepalle near Lakshmi Nrusimha Swamy temple in Nalgonda at a cost of Rs 1.4 crore, Lord Venkateswara temple at Kotapalle in Piler of Chittoor district at a cost of Rs 65 lakh. 

The TTD board has resolved to constitute new Local Advisory Committee (LAC) for New Delhi and Hyderabad information centres on the lines of Chennai.
