Banking services are likely to be affected for the next two days as employees of public sector banks have called for a two-day nationwide strike from Wednesday, to press for wage revision.
The United Forum of Bank Union will hold the nationwide bank strike on Wednesday and Thursday.
More than 10 lakh bank employees are expected to participate in the strike, which might disrupt normal services. However, the functioning of private banks is expected to be normal.
