Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law and businessman Robert Vadra on Sunday said he would campaign for Congress party across the country during Lok Sabha polls.

Vadra, husband of Congress General Secretary in-charge of Eastern Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi said, he would also be present with Sonia Gandhi and brother-in-law Rahul Gandhi during their filing of nominations.

He also said he would be campaigning all over India after the filing of nominations ( Rahul and Sonia).

He also said he would also campaign in Amethi and Raebareli segments as well.

Rahul Gandhi is likely to file his nomination from Amethi on April 10 and Sonia Gandhi is expected to file nomination from Rae Bareli on April 11.

Reacting to Vadra's statement, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, "I don't know if this will be an asset for the campaign of Congress party or of the campaign of BJP."

Robert Vadra is facing money laundering case in the purchase of a London based property. However, he denied the allegations. Recently a Delhi Court granted him anticipatory bail.
