Mumbai Police busts porn film racket

In a major swoop, the Mumbai Police arrested actor Gehana Vaishist and four others in relation to a racket involving production of porn films.

Arrests were made following a raid at a bungalow in the Madh Island area of Mumbai’s western suburbs by the Property Cell of Crime Branch-CID.

Besides the actor, a light-man and two other women working as photographer/videographer and graphic designer in the porn film production company have been arrested by police.

According to Crime Branch officials, the group lured women to make adult videos of them under the pretext of giving them jobs in the film industry. They targeted needy and vulnerable women by promising them big breaks in Bollywood films.

The accused also released trailers of such porn videos on popular social media platforms.

Andana Tiwari alias Gehana Vasisth hails from Chhattisgarh has been part of some TV serials, films and web-series.
