PMC Bank money laundering case: ED summons Sanjay Raut's wife for questioning on Dec 29

In a significant development, the Enforcement Directorate has summoned Shiv Sena chief spokesperson Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha in the PMC Bank fraud case.

However, there has not been any official confirmation from the ED.

Raut could not be contacted.

BJP leader Kirit Somaiya in a Tweet, said, “I heard about ED notice to Sanjay Raut family. Will Mr Raut tell us, is his family a beneficiary? Whether earlier any inquiry, notices received? Around 10 lakh depositors are sufferers. Political protection is not a healthy idea. All want a revival of the PMC Bank.”
