The coalition government’s co-ordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah claimed on Sunday that no Congress MLA or leader has complained against him to the party high command.

Speaking to reporters at Hubballi airport here, he said it is the media’s creation that a few Congress leaders, who are feeling let down by the coalition government, held a meeting at a private hotel in Bengaluru and decided to complain against him to the party high command.

MLA B C Patil has been expressing his desire to be included in the Cabinet. “No one has any kind of grudge against me.

Cabinet Expansion

The co-ordination committee will meet on December 5, wherein leaders from both the parties will finalise the Cabinet expansion and take a call on the issue before the announcement of results for the Assembly elections in five states.

He clarified that there was no dearth of funds for running Indira canteens and that the BJP was creating a hurdle to the project as it was pro-poor.

“When city corporations are receiving funds from the state government, why cannot they run Indira canteens,” he said.

Siddaramaiah said social activist Anna Hazare had been forced to resume his agitation as Prime Minister Narendra Modi failed to appoint a Lokpal, even after the court’s order.

“This shows Modi’s doublespeak on fighting corruption,” he said.
