When one is trying to follow a healthy diet to get fit, it might be difficult to monitor food intake and calories. This is where smartphone apps can help.

These fitness, food and health tracker apps can help to keep track of things like diet, hydration, exercise regime and even sleep. There is a ton of apps out there both for Android and iOS.

This app is mainly for those who want to lose weight. It does to by mainly tracking things like calculating BMI, body fats, calories and waist to hip ratio.

It also has features like the 7-day diet plan, 7-day vegetarian diet plan, detox, step by step guidance for each day, fitness goals, meal planner from your health data

This can track your health, help lose weight and suggest healthy food. It can give a customised diet plan for weight loss and other health goals. It can also log food consumed, plan a diet chart, keep track of steps and workouts and water intake.

The app will guide the user about workouts, going to the gym or practicing yoga.

Additional features include tracking protein, fibre and carbohydrate intake with macro-nutrient mapping. It also lets the user manage diet if he or she has diabetes, thyroid, PCOS, cholesterol and hypertension.

This app can track the usual things like diet, macro calculator, calorie counter and healthy recipes. It will also help the user reach fitness goals.

What sets this apart from some of the other apps is that it will guide the user when it comes to keto, high protein or vegan diets. It will also suggest healthy recipes to help keep the user on track. There are also keto recipes to beat sugar cravings or suggest snacks and also what to eat and plan meals.

Another interesting feature is the macro tracker. One can scan barcodes for macros and nutritional information. This information can be entered manually as well.

MyFitnessPal is an app that helps the user when he or she wants to lose weight, tone up, get healthy or start a new diet regime.

It claims to have more than 11 million foods in its database and also has a recipe importer. Apart from this, it can give the user personalised advice on food, has a calorie counter and one can also log meal and water intake throughout the day.

One can also set weight loss or gain goals and can log cardio and strength exercises. Three are also more than 350 exercises and workouts to choose from.
