JOIN US Azeem G struck an unbeaten half century to guide Dharwad Zone to a crushing nine-wicket victory over Shimoga Zone in the KSCA inter-mofussil under-23 tournament here at the Alur (2) Ground.
Shimoga batted first and thanks to a good all-round show from the Dharwad bowlers, were restricted to 140 all out in 44 overs.
Dharwad steamrolled their way to 142 for one in 33 overs. Rahul Vernekar (32) and Azeem (75 not out) set up the chase nicely for Dharwad.
