It's the variable bounce, the ability for the bowler to really lock into a zone, smash it at that good hard length, and then they can get that variable bounce. How do you play on this one? Get your pads back on. Back in the good old days, how are you gonna play? I think you have to be prepared to lower your risk, particularly for your first 10 or 12 balls. That doesn't mean that you go into your shell and you defend. It just means that you still have good hard, solid footwork, but you probably don't look as aerial because of the inconsistent bounce. Aim for 150, hope you get 170. Quickly, what about the bowlers? Where do they aim from here? Good hard length, good hard length. Traditional. Around about here [pointing that the good length spot]. Around here, the traditional test cricket, what you'd say a good length ball in and around that off stump, they'll be in the game again. Okay, might be hard work for the batters tonight, let's see," Nick Knight and Aaron Finch said.

. "We will bowl first. I think it's a similar wicket we played in the last match. It will behave in a similar way. We will try to keep them under pressure. I think the wickets are pretty much same. There will be variable bounce. That was a good game for us, everyone has a lot of confidence. Every game is important, we are focussing more on playing good cricket. Venky comes in for Shepherd," Patidar said.
