Skipper Rajat Patidar and Devdutt Padikkal looked to stabilise the innings even as they chase a mammoth target. Patidar got a half-century but a flurry of wickets in the middle overs meant RCB were on the backfoot. Mitchell Marsh raced to a 20-ball half century to give LSG a flying start in the powerplay as RCB bowlers struggled with their lines and lengths. Arshin Kulkarni at the other end played cautiously. Rain interrupted play for around half an hour. Krunal Pandya gave RCB a much needed breakthrough immediately after the break. Marsh continued to muscle the ball to register a stunning century.
