BDFA A Division League: DYES lose 0-11 with absent coach and just 10 players

Bengaluru: Karnataka's Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports Football Club lost a season record 0-11 to table-toppers Stride Sports FC in the BDFA A Division League as the state government side showed up with just 10 players and no coaching staff.

DYES FC, placed 13th, are flirting with relegation with a mere 7 points in 11 matches while Karnataka State Football Association was informed that most of their players were unavailable due to Pre-University exams. 

As far as coach Shanthi S's absence is concerned, it was learnt that the DYES football head coach had a trials to officiate outside the city.  Interestingly, Shanthi's absence has been observed in many of the previous matches while the former Super Division team continues to cut a sorry figure this season.

With the priorities lying elsewhere, the team's first goalkeeper Nagaraj KV was forced to play as an outfield player while Nadibevaru Ajaykumar donned the gloves due to the shortage. 

Upon being contacted, DYES commissioner R Chethan assured that an enquiry will be done on the incident and appropriate action will be taken.

Stride made the most out of their rivals' misery as forward Ginneithang Gangte pumped five goals in the rout, taking his club five points clear at the top (28 points in 11 games) while its goal difference improved to 30.
