Santhosh Kumar and Mani Maran struck on either side of the break as the home side wrapped up the six-team league engagements in second place with 10 points at the Bala Gangadharanatha Swamy International Residential School ground.

In the final on Saturday at the Sree Kanteerava stadium, Government Sports School will lock horns with the impressive Kolkatan school Sukantha Nagar Vidhya Niketan, who topped the league with 15 points after trouncing CRPF School, Rohini 2-0 in their final game.

Don Bosco High School, Matunga, who were also in contention for a final berth, were held to a 0-0 stalemate by St Joseph’s BHH School, Calicut. The Matunga school thus finished third in the standings with seven points.
