JSW Sports will launch their much-awaited football club on Saturday.

The City-based JSW Sports, who will competing in this season’s I-League, have been announcing some high-profile sign-ups and have roped in former Manchester United player Ashley Westwood as their coach.

Apart from signing Indian national team striker Robin Singh, they’ve also procured versatile defenders John Johnson and Curtis Osano.

On Thursday they added some local flavour. Three Bangalore boys -- Kutty Mani, Don Bosco Andrew and Vishal Kumar --  were inducted into the team. Midfielder Mani, 26, brings in a fair bit of experience having spent five seasons with Mumbai FC and one at Pune FC. Andrew, also a midfielder, started out at SAI, Bangalore before spending three years at Goa’s SESA Academy.

Defender Vishal has represented India at junior levels apart from being part of the Olympic Qualifier and SAFF Cup squads. He started out with Hindustan Aeronautics Sports Club before spending two seasons at Pailan Arrows.
