KKR will not play IPL 8 if ban on Narine is not lifted

Of late, tabloids are abuzz that Shah Rukh Khan's team Kolkata Night Riders has decided to pull out from IPL 8 if BCCI doesn't lift the ban on off spinner Sunil Narine this year.

BCCI had imposed a ban on KKR player Sunil Narine during the Champions League Twenty20 last year for his suspected illegal bowling action.

However, later on Narine modified his action and the ICC had cleared him.

Now, BCCI is not ready to accept ICC's clearance report given to Narine and wants the off spinner to undergo a second test.

Reportedly, the KKR team is unhappy with BCCI's decision and doesn't want Narine to go for the second test.

According to cricbuzz, if BCCI doesn't lift the ban on Sunil Narine, then KKR is mulling to pull out from the Indian Premier League this year.

KKR might also take a legal action against the BCCI. SRK's IPL team has already met BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya regarding this matter.

Dalmiya has assured the team that appropriate step will be taken in the matter.
