Rakshith, Spoorthi emerge champions

 Rakshith RB and Spoorthi MV emerged champions in the Junior boys’ and girls’ categories respectively in the Vishwanath Bhusnoor annual State-ranking table tennis tournament here  on Saturday.

Rakshith outclassed Shreyas Kulkarni 11-5, 11-8, 11-8, 11-6 to claim the boys’ title.
In the girls’ finale, Spoorthi MV earned a hard fought 11-8, 11-8, 9-11, 14-12, 15-13 victory against Samkyuktha.

Meanwhile, Vishwas V and Anarghya M claimed the top honours in the Sub-junior boys’ and girls’ categories respectively.

Vishwas overcame a tough battle from Samarth Kurdikeri 11-8, 6-11, 11-8, 11-9 to wear the boys’ crown while Anarghya rallied from a game down to record an impressive victory over Aditi Nandi 9-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-13, 13-11 in the girls’ title clash.
