Vijaya Bank, South Western Railway top

Vijaya Bank, who had a comfortable twelve point lead at halftime, let their guards down to let MEG into the match in the second half. On the back of some good scoring by Arokia Babu (14) and Tinu Joseph (10), MEG cut the Bankmen’s lead. But the experienced Bankmen with the help of Srinivas Naik (11) and Sanjay Raj (10), held their nerves to win the match by five points.

South Western Railway thrashed Sports Hostel 53-37 to lift the women’s crown. Savitha scored an impressive 18 points for SWR to help them to the title.
