Vyshak, Ashish fashion Vijaya Cricket Club's facile victory

A fine century from Vyshak and good bowling performance from Ashish Verma helped Vijaya Cricket Club secure a 44-run victory over Chintamani Sports Association, Chintamani in the under-19 KSCA Group I, Division I,II and III inter-club cricket tournament here.

Batting first, Vijaya CC set up a total of 230 runs in 46.4 overs, with Vyshak slamming 100 runs off 144 balls. Arvind Surya picked up an impressive five-wicket haul (5/40) for Chintamani.

In response, Chintamani were bundled out for 186 runs in 45 overs, Abhimanyu (80) being the top scorer. Ashish Verma (4/18) and Sudhir Kolewad (3/25) sparkled for the winners with the ball.
